By accessing or using Memory Archive (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Memory Archive is a personal memory preservation platform that allows you to:

  • Create and organize memories with text, dates, locations, tags, photos, and media.
  • Organize memories into collections for easy browsing and storytelling.
  • Use an AI research agent to discover historical context, public records, and information related to your memories.
  • Share memories and collections with others via secure, token-based links.
  • Search across your entire memory archive using full-text search.

Account Registration

  • You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

User Content

  • Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the content you create on Memory Archive, including memories, photos, and other media.
  • License: By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You must not upload content that is illegal, infringes on others' rights, or violates these terms.
  • Removal: You may delete your content at any time. When you delete content, it is permanently removed from our systems.

AI Research Features

  • The AI research feature is provided on a best-effort basis. Results are generated by AI and may not always be accurate, complete, or up-to-date.
  • AI research results include information retrieved from public web sources. We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party information.
  • AI research is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
  • Your research queries and AI chat sessions are private to your account and are not shared with other users.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm another person.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without our express written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

Intellectual Property

The Memory Archive name, logo, and all related branding are our property. The Service's design, code, and features are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Sharing Features

  • When you share a memory or collection, you create a public link that anyone with the URL can access.
  • You are responsible for who you share links with and the content of shared memories.
  • You can revoke sharing access at any time by deleting the share link.

Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Account deletion permanently removes all your data.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in prohibited activity.
  • We may discontinue or modify the Service at any time with reasonable notice to users.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated research results.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Memory Archive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
